Dover man arrested on firearms charges following investigation
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say a man was arrested Monday afternoon on charges stemming from a firearms investigation.
Shortly before 2 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit made contact with a man, identified as 18-year-old Noah Blake, in the area of Mifflin Road and Fawn Street, regarding a firearm investigation. Blake reportedly ran from officers but was taken into custody after a short foot chase. Police also found a loaded 9mm handgun in the path where Blake ran.
Blake was subsequently charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, tampering with physical evidence, third degree criminal trespass, and resisting arrest. He was later arrested on a $13,050 unsecured bail.
