Community member to hold 3rd annual West Side Block Party
SALISBURY, Md. – It’s that time of year again for the Annual Community Block Party. Hosted by Keyonte Bratten, and held on the West Side of Salisbury, it’s all the rage on the 4th of July!
This will be the third year this event will take place on Booth Street, where there will be food, Fun, and fellowship. Last year, they had over 2,000 pieces of chicken, 1,000 hot dogs and hamburgers, and over 500 fried catfish sandwiches.
Keyonte Bratten, known as Pep-Pep to his community, says this year won’t disappoint! “So, this year I’m doubling up on everything, I’m doubling up on everything… We’ve been having successful events. It’s been a successful event for the last 3 years, this is the third year doing it, and this year is going to be successful, so I’m hoping I get some type of recognition this year going forward.”
Again, the West Side Community Block Party will be held Friday, July 4th, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 911 Booth Street, Salisbury, MD. Bratten says they are still in need of food, donations, and volunteers. If you would like to help make this event a success, you can call him directly at 443-629-7330.
