BVSPCA to host annual Mega Adoption Event

DELAWARE. – The Brandywine Valley SPCA’s 19th annual Mega Adoption event is right around the corner.

The two-day event will bring in dogs and cats from different SPCA locations, including the two in Sussex County. The event is a hub for people who are looking for a furry friend, with thousands of pets to be in attendance this year.

BVSPCA spokesperson, Sara Smith said for many of the animals, this event gives them a second chance at life.

“The Brandywine Valley SPCA brings animals from our entire footprint, from both of our locations in Georgetown, to our location in Dover and beyond,” said Smith. “We have locations throughout the state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the entire state of Delaware, as well as in Washington DC.”
