Woodbridge softball downs Milford at home

GREENWOOD, Del. – Woodbridge softball took down Milford 8-5 on Friday in Greenwood.

The offense started early, with Milford taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st. Woodbridge responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 2-1 lead.

The Bucs would tie the game at 2-2 with a run in the top of the 3rd.

The Raiders took a commanding lead with a big 4th inning, putting up 5 runs to make it 7-2.

Milford closed the gap with 3 runs in the top of the 5th, but another Woodbridge run in the bottom of the 5th put the game out of reach for a final score of 8-5.
