The Museum of Ocean City set to be significant landmark for resort town

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Museum of Ocean City had its official ribbon cutting Thursday. The grand opening of the renovated museum marks a new chapter in preserving and sharing the town’s history.

The landmark will have exhibits, stories, and artifacts to showcase Ocean City’s evolution from seaside resort to vibrant destination.

Christine Okerblom is the museum curator – and told WMDT this new development will unveil even more of that history.

“The locations offer our visitors the opportunity to learn about the town’s history. They’ll learn about natural history, the animals, and wildlife you encounter when you come here.”
