SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after police recovered a stolen firearm during a traffic stop.

At around 2:15 p.m., Salisbury Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Snow Hill Road and spoke with the driver, 30-year-old Michael Stroman. During the stop, Stroman was asked to step out of the vehicle, but he allegedly became loud and uncooperative, drawing the attention of people in the area.

Officers eventually placed Stroman under arrest, and a search of the vehicle led police to find a semi-automatic loaded handgun, which was determined to have been reported stolen through the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack. Additionally, police found amounts of suspected oxycodone, xanax, and cash.
