Stephen Decatur softball closes out regular season with big win over Mardela

MARDELA SPRINGS, Md.- Stephen Decatur closed out their regular season beating Mardela 3-1, Thursday evening in Mardela Springs.

Mardela would get on the board first with an RBI from Elana Donalds in the bottom of the third inning, Warriors up 1-0 going into the fourth inning.

Top of the seventh inning, Riley Hertzog bunts and gets a single RBI bringing home Hayden Esworthy.

Seahawks looking to take the lead, Bailey Griffin with the sacrifice bunt as Julianna Woodall scores. 

Maddie Donoway out at first off a fielder’s choice as Hertzog comes home.

The Stephen Decatur Seahawks finish the season with a 16-2 record, and a perfect 10-0 in the Bayside South.
