Snow Hill announces unofficial results of election

SNOW HILL, Md. – The Town of Snow Hill has announced the unofficial results of Tuesday’s election.

The office of Central District Council was on the ballot, with two candidates, Current Council member Aaron W. Lumpkins and candidate Madelyn Lampron. At the close of polls, officials say Aaron W. Lumpkins received 60 votes and is the unofficial winner, while Madelyn received 8 votes. Of the 584 registered voters in the Central District, 68 votes were cast in person, with two absentee ballots collected and one provisional ballot.

The official results will be determined on May 28th. All offices will be sworn in at the town’s June 10th regular meeting.
