Salisbury PFLAG to host fundraiser events ahead of Pride Parade
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury PFLAG is in need of money to keep their operation, and future events, going. The group has a few fundraisers on the agenda for the month of May, including a garden party on May 10th.
Money raised at the event will go towards the upcoming Pride Parade in June. Executive director, Mark DeLancey said with many organizations worried about grant cuts, these events are needed.
“A lot of fundraising across the board has been down; a lot of regional corporations, a lot of local corporations and organizations, they’re losing funding, whether it’s indirectly through tariffs, or just cutting back on costs,” said DeLancey.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. For more information, you can visit Salisbury PFLAG’s Facebook page.
