Salisbury house fire ruled accidental
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury home was heavily damaged in a fire Thursday afternoon.
Crews were called to the 200 block of Shad Point Road at around 4:30 p.m. for a reported house fire. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in under an hour.
Fire Marshals were called to the scene, determining that the fire was accidental in nature and was caused by a stove burner being left on. Total damage has been estimated at $100,000. The occupants are being helped by the American Red Cross.
