Residents can meet the new Ocean City Police Chief and grab some coffee with local event

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Tuesday residents can grab a cup of coffee with cops in Ocean City. The new Police Chief, Raymond Austin, hopes to get to know the community.

He claims it’s a chance for officers to connect with citizens as they prepare for a busy summer.

Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association Officer Ruth Waters thinks it’s a great opportunity for residents.

“It’s an opportunity to talk with officers about their plans for Memorial Day, regarding keeping the beach safe, the boardwalk safe, and the streets safe.”

You can grab your brews with the crew at the Starbucks on 17th Street in Ocean City Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
