Princess Anne man killed in Salisbury crash
SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation is underway following a fatal motorcycle crash in Salisbury Sunday afternoon.
Shortly before 5 p.m., police were called to the area of Route 50 and Tilghman Road for a reported crash involving a motorcycle. Initial investigation revealed that the driver of a 2020 Harley-Davidson, identified as 48-year-old Lorenzo Taylor of Princess Anne, was driving eastbound on Route 50, trying to cross the intersection with Tilghman Road. The motorcycle allegedly crashed into a 2014 Nissan Murano that was traveling southbound on Tilghman Road.
Taylor was taken by EMS to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Nissan also went to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
