Parking lot robbery under investigation in Harrington

HARRINGTON, Del. – Police are investigating a reported armed robbery that happened early Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Harrington Raceway and Casino.

At around 2:45 a.m., troopers were called to the casino for a reported robbery, learning that two unknown men allegedly approached the victim in the parking lot as he was getting in his vehicle. The suspects then assaulted the victim, took his property, and fled the scene in a black pick-up truck.

The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
