Pair arrested after drugs found in Laurel
LAUREL, Del. Friday morning Laurel Police searched an apartment in Carvel Gardens discovering illegal drugs leading to the arrest of two individuals.
During the search police found various amounts of crack cocaine and prescription medications, they say were packaged for sale. Jessica Young of Laurel was the target of a month-long investigation by Laurel Police and was taken into custody along with Ricky Horsey of Laurel.
Both Young and Horsey were charged with
-Manufacture/Deliver/PWID Controlled Substance (Class D Felony)
-Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 1 Quantity (Class G Felony)
-Possess Consume a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance x4 (Class B Misdemeanor)
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class B Misdemeanor)
Both subjects were arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court #2 and remanded to the Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of posting $12,000 secure bond each.
