OCPD announces retirement of K-9

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police are congratulating K-9 Smoke on his retirement after seven years of dedicated service.

Smoke, a Belgian Malinois from the Netherlands, was deployed more than 370 times, alongside Patrolman First Class Erika Rhode, as a dual-purpose patrol and narcotics detection K-9.
