North Dorchester beats Stephen Decatur to claim Bayside Softball Championship

SALISBURY, Md.- North Dorchester beat Stephen Decatur 7-1 Tuesday afternoon at Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium, taking home the 2025 Bayside Championship.

North Dorchester would make a statement early in the game as they went up big in the first inning outscoring Decatur 4-0.

The Eagles would add on to their lead in the fifth inning as they score 2 more runs. Decatur refused to be shutout as they were able to score a run finally putting themselves on the board.

In the seventh inning the Eagles added one more run on the board as they beat the Seahawks and were crowned Bayside Champions.
