HOPE adds Shower Trailer

SALISBURY, Md. – One local group is offering up a new service to help the less fortunate.

Help and Outreach Point of Entry, or HOPE, will now be offering more hygiene with the help of a new shower trailer.

The trailer offers full amenities including the aforementioned shower plus a toilet and sink.

HOPE Executive Director, Debra Rossi spoke with us about being able to provide a service that many of us take for granted and how much of a difference it can make.

Rossi tells us, “It’s really a hindrance on your basic overall mental and physical health. So just yesterday, when several people took advantage of the shower trailer, the transformation in their attitudes, how happy they were, how different they felt made me know we were doing the right thing.”

HOPE will be offering the showers during their hours of operation, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wicomico County Presbyterian Church.
