Good Morning Delmarva discusses UNA’s 2nd annual disc golf tournament

WMDT – If you’re a fan of golf and want to stretch your legs, United Needs and Abilities (UNA) is hosting their 2nd annual disc golf tournament tomorrow.

The funds raised go towards supporting those in our community with developmental disabilities.

UNA currently serves all 9 counties, and the funds will go to their cash assistance program.

We sat down with, Sarah Gleason, the CEO of UNA, and Taylor Hubbard, from East Bound Disc Golf Club who tell us this event is more than just about the money.

They are more focused on bring awareness to the needs of those in the community and they many ways we can all help support them.

They say last year was a big success and they learned a lot.

Again, the annual disc golf tournament is tomorrow May 3rd.
