Stephen Decatur baseball repeats as Bayside Champs over Queen Anne’s

SALISBURY, Md.- Stephen Decatur baseball once again reign as Bayside Champions after beating Queen Anne’s 8-3 Tuesday night at Perdue Stadium.

Decatur would take an early lead, scoring 1 run in the first inning and 3 more runs in the second inning, taking a 4-0 lead into the third inning.

Queen Anne’s, looking to make a comeback, earned themselves 2 runs in the fourth, closing the gap to 4-2 going into the fifth inning.

The Lions closed the gap further by scoring another run in the top of the fifth, narrowing Decatur’s advantage to 1 run at 4-3.

But the Seahawks would responded immediately by scoring 4 runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth, and closing out the gmae to ultimately retain their title of Bayside Champions.
