Crews begin installation of new Doverdale Park playground
SALISBURY, Md. – Monday marked the beginning of the installation for the new Doverdale Park playground in Salisbury.
Crews were out installing the new playground equipment earlier in the day.
The installation is expected to take two weeks to complete.
During construction, the playground area will be closed to ensure the safety of all visitors and to allow for a smooth installation process.
“This is just an exciting initiative for the City of Salisbury to provide a safe and fun place for family, friends, community members to come out, have a good time whether that’s playing basketball at the courts, playing on the new playground equipment or family gatherings, that’s what we’re all about for the City of Salisbury and we’re looking forward to having new, friendly faces come out to the new Doverdale Park,” said Jordan Ray with the City of Salisbury.
City officials plan to hold a ribbon cutting on May 28th to celebrate the new place to play.
