Crews battle shed fire in North Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Fire Marshals say two juveniles are responsible for a shed fire in Salisbury Tuesday evening.
The fire was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the Travelodge on North Salisbury Boulevard. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in roughly 20 minutes.
Fire marshals say the fire began inside a prefab storage building and was determined to be incendiary. Further investigation determined that two juveniles were involved, and we’re told referrals to the Department of Juvenile Services are pending.
Total damage has been estimated at $35,000.
