PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The University of Maryland Eastern shore is showcasing the success of their student body, and they want to public to enjoy all the work they’ve done thus far.
The 2nd annual Dean’s Award for Student Leadership or DASL Expo hosted by the School of Agricultural and Natural Sciences or SANS, is meant to show how students have been excelling in STEM fields, and how their work will benefit the entire community.

And we need to showcase these to the outside community also, that we are not just creating access, but we are creating excellence also.”
Katrina Kelly, Program Manager for the SANS Center believes it is important to show how much these students contribute and will contribute to the Eastern Shore, and beyond. “The essentialness of our presence in this community, is really key to providing access, but also to the health of our country, to the health of our nation.”
The DASL Expo will take place Tuesday, April 22, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm in front of the Student Center on the campus of UMES. For questions, contact Ms. Kelly at 410-651-7101.
