Sussex Academy girl’s soccer takes down Indian River

GEORGETOWN, Del.- Sussex Academy took down Indian River 2-1 Tuesday afternoon in Georgetown.

Late in the first half, Debora Williams would score a header off a corner kick from Patricia Lara Nieto.

With less than 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Kamdyn Shockley would find Allison Tucker on a long pass as Tucker would find the equalizer, tying the game

Five minutes into the second half Williams would score another header off of a Lara Nieto corner kick.

Sussex Academy advances their record to 7-2 as Indian River falls to 4-3.
