Somerset County Fair returns in July

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Get ready for a weekend of pure fun, the Somerset County Fair is coming back this summer.

Local organizations, clubs and sports teams may run a free fundraiser or game booth. The fair is now accepting applications for that.

The Somerset County Fair is free and open to the public.

Plus, organizers are looking forward to some new events this year.

“We are working on some fantastic new events coming to the fair,” said Brittany Nottingham with the Somerset County Fair. “We have Touch-A-Truck coming on Saturday, we even have waterfowl carving demonstrations.”

“We will also be announcing a really big return of an event that we had a long time ago, we’ll be announcing that next month and we expect a lot of buzz around that event,” Nottingham added.
