SBY area annual prayer breakfast quickly approaches

SALISBURY, Md. – Members of the community are preparing for the 13th annual Salisbury Area Prayer Breakfast, coinciding with the National Day of Prayer.

This non-denominational gathering of all ages is meant to lift the country in prayer. It’s held at the Wicomico Civic Center, community members can take a morning to give thanks and to come together to be unified.

During breakfast, the Salisbury Christian school band will be providing music for guests.

This year’s keynote speaker is Jedd Medefind, a national leader on faith and family issues; All components working together for their greater good. “We want our community to be able to participate, to feel as if they’re a part of it, and it’s so important to the community to come together in unity and one accord and seek guidance from our heavenly father,” says Don Hackett, Executive Director of Dove Pointe.

The breakfast takes place on Thursday, May 1st, beginning at 7 a.m. and ending around 9 a.m.
