Salisbury hosting Hops on the River this weekend

SALISBURY, Md. – The city of Salisbury is hosting its 5th craft beer tasting event Hops on the River this Saturday.

Local and regional breweries will offer unlimited samples of more than 30 craft beers throughout the downtown area.

Attendees will also be able to gobble down some grub from food trucks and other vendors on site.

This year, the King of Wings competition will also return to Hops on the River.

“We’re going to be sampling three different beers from our brewery and all the other breweries will have several different beers as well, so it will be a good time to sample a lot of different beers, see what kind of different flavors you like as a beer drinker and it gives you a lot of exposure to different kinds of beers you wouldn’t normally try,” said Tom Knorr, Evolution Craft Brewing Company Founder.

In case of inclement weather, Hops on the River will then be held on April 13th.
