Project HERA hosting “Lilith Fest” in Dewey Beach
DEWEY BEACH, Del. – Project HERA will be hosting a tribute show of all female musicians next month in Dewey Beach.
Project HERA is a non-profit that supports and empowers women and girls by providing performance opportunities for musicians of all ages.
The event is called Lilith Fest and will feature more than 20 female artists.
They’ll be performing tributes to dozens of acts that played at the original Lilith Fair Music Festival like The Chicks, Tracy Chapman, Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige and much more.
The show is meant to give female artists a platform while providing an uplifting – community-oriented experience for those that attend.
“You may not know the performer, but you’ll definitely know the songs and so we’re hoping this will bring not only support of women in music but it will also help these local artists and regional artists promote their own music too,” said Cathy DiToro, Founder of Project HERA.
Lilith Fest is Friday, May 16th at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach.
