Pittsville Christmas Town gets new owners and new location
DELMAR Del. – A tradition in Pittsville will be under new ownership – and at a new location – this upcoming holiday season. Brent and Sara Hall of Delmar are the new owners of the Pittsville Christmas Town. The facility will be under a new name called ‘Festive Family Farm.’
There will be enormous displays, lights, and decorations for community members to enjoy. The family plans to run the attraction from Black Friday to New Year’s Day, on January 1st.
The location will be revealed closer to opening day, but Sara believes this will be a great addition to Delmar. She and her father, Brent, are already working on getting things set up. “We came to the plan that we were going to buy everything; we will have plenty of parking and space for extra activities. We want to add a petting zoo, and tractors for display, and we’re going to still have Mrs. Clause’s shack, but indoors with heating instead.”
The new site will be wheelchair accessible. The family plans to work with local groups assisting those struggling with addiction and mental health.
