New primary care facility opens in Dagsboro and promises affordable healthcare
DAGSBORO, Del. – A new state-of-the-art primary care health care facility has opened in Dagsboro. With the purpose of helping meet the community’s needs.
Dr. Mica Goehner stated that she recognized a need to address long wait times, insufficient provider time, and inadequate provider listening.
According to Goehner, the owner of Summit View Primary Care, the clinic strives to advance health care options for Sussex County residents. They offer excellent medical care plans, with or without insurance.
“We have unique cash plans available. Give us a call if you don’t have insurance, because it’s affordable to take care of your health even without health insurance.”
Another reason for Summit View’s strategic location was to help serve underserved communities. “We’re in an underserved population here, and we definitely have way more people than providers,” said Goehner.
Executive Director of the Greater Millsboro Chamber of Commerce, Nadine Timpanaro, was pleased with the new opening. Claiming this will open more doors for people in need.
“It’s an issue, so finding someone dedicated to quality care and investing time is a positive thing for the community.”
