Laurel man arrested for raping minor

LAUREL, Del. – A month-long sexual assault investigation led to the arrest of a Laurel man on Tuesday.

Last month, Laurel Police received a report of sexual abuse, alleging that the suspect, 34-year-old Jesse Frank, was committing various sexual crimes to a minor victim while in Delaware. Further investigation revealed that these crimes also took place in both Delaware and Maryland.

Frank was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of second degree rape, continuous sexual abuse of a child, sexual solicitation of a child, eight counts of sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust, and eight counts of second degree unlawful sexual contact with a minor.

He was held at SCI on a $304,000 cash only bond.
