Indivisible Southern Delaware holding HANDS OFF! rally

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – This weekend, several protest groups will join the HANDS OFF! National Day of Action for a rally in Rehoboth Beach.

Indivisible Southern Delaware will be protesting the Trump Administration.

Organizers say the president’s policies conflict with current law adding he’s usurping Congressional power.

“The HANDS OFF! is a shortcut for hands off our social security, hands off our immigrants, hands off our federal employees, hands off our postal service,” said Cheryl Siskin with Indivisible Southern Delaware. “We shouldn’t be allowing Elon Musk, an unelected entrepreneur, who wasn’t born in this country, to be making decisions about which policies and programs should be cut from the federal government.”

The event starts with a protest from 9 am to 11 am along Coastal Highway, before moving to the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand for a rally at noon.
