Indiana man arrested in connection to fatal Seaford shooting
SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a suspect in connection to last week’s fatal shooting in Seaford.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on April 8th, Seaford Police and Delaware State Police were called to a reported shooting on Clarence Street, between Thomas Street and Chandler Street. At the scene, officers found the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and began life-saving efforts. The victim, later identified as 32-year-old Rihem Frisby, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Through further investigation, detectives identified 22-year-old Andy Dorgilus of Indianapolis, Indiana, as a suspect. Dorgilus was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first degree murder, first degree reckless endangering, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and first degree conspiracy.
He is being held at SCI on a $1.13 million cash bond.
