UPDATE: Homicide investigation underway in Dover

4/24 UPDATE: Delaware State Police have released the identities of the victims in this homicide.

We’re told the victims were identified as 33-year-old Brittani Hollis and 35-year-old Kamal Paddy.

The incident remains under investigation.

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating after two people were reportedly found dead in a vehicle in Dover Sunday morning.

At around 7:30 a.m., troopers were called to the intersection of Sharon Hill Road and Cahoon Brand Road for a death investigation. At the scene, troopers reportedly found a vehicle on the shoulder with two occupants suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The 33-year-old woman and 35-year-old man, both from Dover, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives they do not believe there is any threat to public safety at this time.
