Good Morning Delmarva discusses UWLES 2025 Dine, Stay, and Play Program
WMDT – United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore’s (UWLES) Dine, Stay and Play is returning.
It’s an opportunity for local businesses and hospitality organizations to give back to the community.
This morning, Ryan Jackson, the community outreach coordinator and Amy Thompson, the executive director of the Greater Ocean City, Maryland Chamber of Commerce stopped by to share more about this year’s program.
We’re told that Ocean City is a unique tourism industry that can make a big local impact during the summer months.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, participating restaurants will collect proceeds from one special meal on their menu that can be used to support UWLES.
Hotels and other activity related establishments will also be participating in the program.
It’s a chance to come together to help those in need and face challenges in the Delmarva area.
