Good Morning Delmarva discusses the 2025 Heacook Fest

WMDT – Heacook Festival is one of the most anticipated events each year and it returns Friday, April 25th.

It’s an opportunity to honor the legacy of fallen hero Corporal Keith Heacook while connecting with others in the community for a day of fun.

This morning, Kyle Hughes and Benjamin Jorden, is here to tells us more about what’s new this year.

We’re told Preston Automotives sponsors the entire event and it’s free to the public.

You can expect to see Maryland and Delaware helicopters landing, live music, axe throwing, Paw Patrol, a best dressed contest, and more!

Again, the festival will be on Friday, April 25th and doors open at 5 p.m.

Delmar Mayor, Benjamin Jorden, says the event is all about introducing the younger generation to Heacook’s legacy.
