Domestic incident leads to charges for Felton man

FELTON, Md. – A Felton man was arrested Monday afternoon on domestic related charges.

At around 4 p.m., officers were called to the 100 block of West Main Street for a report of a physical domestic incident. It was learned that the female victim and suspect, later identified as 45-year-old Steven Huey Sr., had gotten into a verbal altercation that turned physical.

Huey was subsequently taken into custody and charged with possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, strangulation, aggravated menacing, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, malicious interference with emergency communications, and criminal mischief under $1000 damage property.

He was held at SCI on a $29,000 cash bail and was issued a protection from abuse order and a no contact order with the victims.
