Del. OHS hosts annual town hall meeting
DELAWARE. – Delaware’s Office of Highway Safety is working to keep the public informed.
At the office’s town hall event, officials will take feedback from the public on how to improve roadway safety and reduce accidents.
Community relations officer, Meghan Niddrie said they host these events frequently, with flexible options for people to be able to get in on the conversation.
“We’re trying to reach the communities where they’re at,” said Niddrie. “The point of these town halls is we have one in each county, and we also have a virtual option, so we really want to hear from the local communities and what they think– what kind of messaging is going to resonate with them.”
The town hall will be held Wednesday night from 6-8pm at Del Tech’s Owens Campus in Georgetown.
