Cooking with Lynn: tabouli herb salad
WMDT – It’s Wednesday and that means we are back in Lynn Matava’s kitchen.
Lynn is a Nutrition Educator with the University of Maryland Extension.
Lynn has a recipe for making herb salad called tabouli. It’s packed with vitamins K, C, and A.
It also is filled with lots of fiber which can help with digestion.
The most important ingredient in this mediterranean recipe is the parsley because it has a good amount of iron and calcium.
Other items you will need include lemon, olive oil, and salt.
