Cooking with Lynn: frozen fruit & chia seed pudding

WMDT – It’s Wednesday and we are back in Lynn Matava’s kitchen!

Lynn is a Nutrition Educator with the University of Maryland Extension.

She has a recipe for chia seed pudding with frozen fruit.

We’re told that frozen fruit is similar to buying fresh fruit as most of the nutrients have not diminished.

You can use them to make a smoothie or a smoothie bowl.

Matava says it’s best to let them defrost and become soft enough to chew before beginning to cook.
