Colonel Richardson gets revenge on North Caroline

RIDGELY, Md. – Colonel Richardson avenged an earlier loss by topping North Caroline 10-1, Tuesday evening in Ridgely.

Top of the first inning: Colonel’s TJ Wenger hits ground ball to center field, gets RBI bringing home Jack Walls. Derrick Mitchell hits ball into right field, gets RBI as Wenger comes home. Sacrifice fly as Cameron Todd gets a run, Colonels up 3-0 after the first inning.

In the top of the fifth inning, Colonel’s Jordan Regulski hits a home run, bringing Walls home as well. 

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Bulldog’s Cam King hits ball infield RBI safe at first bringing home Thomas Necessary, getting North Caroline on the board but trailing 5-1 going into the sixth inning.

Top of the sixth inning, Colonel’s Kenton Robbins bunts and gets an RBI as Mitchell comes homes. Jamie Mensonides sacrifice pop fly for Caleb Rouser to score. John Beaven bunts gets out at first with RBI as Kenton Robbins comes home, Colonels up 8-1 going into the final inning.

Top of the seventh inning, Todd hits the ball to the infield with RBI as Wenger scores. Todd steals home plate off a catcher error.

Pitcher Jordan Regulski allowed less than five baserunners and was a main factor in the defense with only allowing 1 run.
