Caroline Co. Sheriff’s Deputy suspended following domestic assault arrest

CAROLINE CO., Md. – The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office says it has suspended a deputy following his arrest earlier this week.

We’re told Sgt. Keith Collison, a 9-year veteran of the agency, was arrested on Monday and charged with second degree assault related to a domestic incident. He has been suspended with pay, in accordance with Maryland law, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Collison was released after an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
