Cape Henlopen Softball ends Stephen Decatur undefeated streak

BERLIN, Md.- Cape Henlopen ends Stephen Decatur win streak 6-3, Monday afternoon in Berlin.

Top of the 2nd inning Cape’s Brianna Windish hits a inside the park home-run.

In the top of the 3rd inning Alivia Heers and Hayden Hudson would both hit home-runs extending their lead against Decatur, 3-0  going into the 4th inning.

Bottom of the 4th inning Decatur’s Ava Snelsire with her own home-run to put Decatur on the board, 3-1 going into the 5th inning.

 Bottom of the 6th inning Snelsire sacrifice fly, Emily Blume scores, Decatur catching up going into the 7th inning.

Top of the 7th Vikings’s Alivia Longo and Milena Buehler comes home off a RBI from Hudson. Ava Calciano scores as Abigail Marsh out at first.

Bottom of the 7th Decatur’s Bailey Griffin will score off an error at third.

Cape Henlopen continue their undefeated streak at 8-0, as Stephen Decatur advance to 9-1.
