Cape Henlopen softball continues undefeated streak against Indian River

DAGSBORO, Del.- Cape Henlopen continued their undefeated season against Indian River 13-1, Tuesday afternoon in Dagsboro.

Top 2: Eden Frederick, Abigail Crouch and Milena Buehler score off RBIs from Crouch and Ava Calciano, with a sacrifice fly from Alivia Heers.

Bottom 2: Katelyn Lasher walked, Se’Tara McGee scores. 

In the next four innings Cape went on to score 10 unanswered runs, ending the game in the top of the 6th inning.

Well, we are very blessed,” Head Coach Mike Tkach said humbly about his team. “We’re very talented, and not being cocky or anything, we have a lot of talent. One thing that we pride ourselves on is hitting the ball and we’re going to force teams that they’re going to have to answer us and score as many runs as we do. If you’re going to beat us, we have some strong defense going on.”
