Boardwalkin’ for Pets returns to Ocean City Saturday

OCEAN CITY, Md. – This weekend marks the 24th annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets event in Ocean City, hosted by the Worcester County Humane Society.

Registration will begin at 9:30 on Saturday at the Inlet.

You can get a Paw Pass where you visit different stations along the boardwalk to collect stamps and prizes.

There’s also a doggy dig where dogs can dig in the sand for prizes provided by Park Place Jewelers.

Plus, you can get in on an After-Pawty at Coastal Salt.

All money and donations go back to the Worcester County Humane Society.

“My excitement is seeing all the people just local who have adopted from us in the past, bringing your animals out to support us,” said Kat Norton, Shelter Manager at the Worcester County Humane Society. “All the animals get to make new friends, there’s a lot of doggy new friends being made and you might not have known that your neighbor is an adopter as well.”

In case of rain, Boardwalkin’ for Pets will be held on a different date.
