Bennett baseball dominates Chincoteague at home

SALISBURY, Md. – James M. Bennett baseball turned in a dominant performance on Friday, beating Chincoteague 15-0.

After the game, Head Coach Chad Whittington said, “[We were] just putting the bat on the ball. This was just one of those days where we wanted to come out, work on the little things. Putting the barrel on the ball, running the bases well, just trying to clean ourselves up. We’ve had a tough start to our season, 3-2 against some tough opponents. We just wanted to kind of work on the details today….We seem to be a team of momentum, so this will give us a little momentum going into a really tough game Monday against Kent Island, so we hope this is gonna get the train rolling.”

The Clippers are now 4-2 on the season with the victory.
