Wicomico Co. Public Schools prepping families for summer

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Parents looking for summertime activities for your child, there are lots of great opportunities in Wicomico County.

Tuesday, the public school district hosted a resource event where parents learned about all of the summer programs their kids can get involved in while school is out.

Family engagement specialist, Beth Sheller said students should still have the opportunity to learn, even during the summer, and there will be plenty of different programs for parents to choose from.

“We know that parents are looking for ways to keep their child engaged during the summer months, maybe explore things that they haven’t been able to explore during the school year because it’s a busy time, so they can take advantage of some of these different summer programs that are going to be there,” said Sheller.
