Seaford School District teacher uses award money in special way

SEAFORD, Del. – Earlier this year, Mrs. Jackson from Frederick Douglass Elementary School won Hertrich’s Cash for Class award for her classroom.

She used the funds to create something truly special: personalized blankets for each of her students, tailored to individual interests. She also got new books for the kids to encourage a love of reading.
