Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council offers scholarship opportunities for aspiring artists

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Aspiring artists in Wicomico County can apply for financial aid through two scholarships and a grant. The Herbert D. Brent and Paul S. Hyde Art Scholarships offer up to $3000 for high school seniors or full-time college students pursuing degrees in the arts.

Applicants must meet certain residency or educational criteria. The Douglas I. Smith Memorial Grant provides financial assistance starting at $150 for students aged 16 or under, or teachers/youth leaders interested in arts education.
