Salisbury dominates Cortland in Face Off Against Cancer Game
SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury dominated Cortland 16-4, Wednesday afternoon in Salisbury.
Salisbury came out strong in the first quarter making a statement, leading Cortland 4-1.
By the half the Sea gulls would perform the same, for every goal Cortland score Salisbury would score four, being up 8-2 by the half.
The dragons were able to sneak in 2 goals in the third but the Sea Gulls countered with 3 of their own.
By the end of the fourth quarter the Lady Sea gulls cemented their win but not before scoring 5 more goals without letting the Dragons score any.
Miranda Mears, Audrey Harrington, and Julianna Ott would all score hat tricks in the game while goalie Paige Ellis only allowed 4 goals of the 17 shots Cortland took.
Salisbury will go on to play #3 Franklin and Marshall, March 3, at 1pm in Lancaster, PA.
