Local organization offering mental health services to community members in need

FELTON, Del. – A local organization is encouraging the community to take advantage of their mental health services.

Breakthrough Mental Health LLC. in Felton is extending its outreach in the community by calling all Delawareans to reach out, if they are in need of mental health resources.

The organization serves clients 16 and up and offers medication management and psychiatric evaluations.

Medical secretary, Amy Fitzgerald said the group is trying to do its part in shattering mental health stigma.

“A lot of people are scared to admit they have mental health issues or seek treatment. We just want people to know they’re not alone; we’re here to help,” said Fitzgerald.
